When I first came here I was excited for I thought I found the place my wife and I could live in for a while. At the time the management was great, maintenance personnel seemed competent, and life was good. About 3 months after moving in a water pipe burst from the top floor pool/hot tub. At least 4 apartments were affected, some more that others, including mine. Once the manager found out about the problem she was calling all over the place to get water damage specialists into the complex to fix the problem. We had to be out of our apartment for several days during a 3-4 week period of time due to the equipment and construction going on in our bedroom (it was the only room affected). We were comp-ed that time and the hotel rooms were paid for by the apartment as well. Even as intrusive as this was, the reaction from the complex was great and we felt we were taken good care of. Shortly after that and with about 10 days notice the manager was replaced with another from within the company. I admit, I missed the former manager because she was pretty cool but I know things change. About 2 months after getting our apartment back to normal, my wife and I started noticing a black area forming in the corner of our bedroom; an area previously affected by the water damage. We told the management about it and instead of being genuinely concerned that something resembling mold was growing in our bedroom, its was merely sprayed with bleach and painted over. Mold isn't supposed to grow in a bedroom, unless there is a bigger problem in the wall. I voiced this concern but was assured it wasn't mold and that a bigger problem did not exist. Within 10 days of getting this explanation another black spot was appearing in the exact same area. Instead of being told it wasn't mold, I went out and purchased a do-it-yourself mold test kit, took a sample, sent it to a professional lab and received results confirming it was, in fact, black mold. I told the management about my finding and told them I wanted to move out of the apartment as it was most certainly unhealthy to live in. At the time there were no acceptable options available to accommodate us. I asked them about possibly moving into a two bedroom apartment at a reduced rate, albeit more than what I was paying for the one bedroom. This was not acceptable to them, even considering our plight. Finally the moldy area was professionally removed from the apartment but I was still interested in moving away from it. By this time an equal (in my mind) apartment became available right across the hall. The manager told me if I wanted it, it was mine. They would pay to have any movers come move our stuff and I was actually getting excited again to be through will all the problems we were having. Just prior to committing to moving into the apartment, the manager told me it would be a few days before we could move into the other apartment because they had to spray. Spray' For what' Cockroaches. That pretty much sealed the deal that not only were we not moving into that apartment, but we were moving out of the complex altogether. Our choice was mold or cockroaches. No thanks. Living with mold, getting minor illness we can now attribute to the mold, and the whole mess in general; no compensation, no reduced rent, hell no reimbursement for the mold testing kit.
PS. Apt 330 is right under the water pump for the pool and hot tub. Apparently concurrently with the water damage issue, the water pump was destroyed as well. After it got "fixed" is when we started having problems. At night when it would go on it made such a racket we couldn't sleep. My wife slept on the couch for several days before I figured out there was a kill switch on the pump. I told management about this almost immediately after it started. About a month and a half later after several conversations with management about this it was finally "fixed" again. The " " are because even up to the time we left, it would still act up occasionally at night. No compensation for that mess either.
PPS Roaches are in 316.
PPPS when it rains, it leaks every where. This building would not last in the mid-west where it actually gets weather.

Had given some thought to moving into a 1BR at this building but after reading this and other posts...forget it.
