When I first moved in, everything seemed fine. Then I noticed the elevator stops on all the wrong floors. For the past sixth months, the elevator flat out fails and everyone has to take the stairs for about a week every month. It's failed right now. The fix it man for the building (he also maintains other buildings managed by the HPG, the cheap management company that has one fix it guy for three buildings)temporarily fixed it but I've never see an actual person from the elevator company fix it. That's probably why it keeps failing days after it's fixed. The water pressure has gotten worse lately and they often shut the water off without notice. I'm sure all these problems could be fixed if HPG put more money in to the building. You can't expect one man to maintain everything in three buildings.

Completely accurate assessment of the quality of life we face at Westbury Apts. They just spent $$$$$ painting the building exterior and still have spent no $$$ to repair the elevator or hot water problems that happen monthly. One other issue, power failures plague this building regularly and have lasted entire days. The maintenance man is very responsible, but lacks adequate time to properly fix problems in 3 different locations. Question: Can the rent be raised with a faulty elevator, hot water problems, musty hallways, old security door locks and no noise control from nearby Hollywood Blvd.?????????????????????
