I've lived at Westbury for a year and I would say it's a pretty good place to live if you're just starting out or have just moved to LA. My studio is a pretty good size and has a big closet and kitchen. The cabinets are a little 70s but the appliances are new. It's not bad for the price. The location is good and there is parking, which is a plus.
The biggest drawback is the laundry system. You need to buy a card beforehand to do laundry and there is no machine to re-charge them so you have to get in touch with the manager if you're out of money. Also, some of the tenants are kind of messy, throwing trash next to the garbage instead of in it etc. Not a luxury apartment, but pretty nice.
