For the money you spend to live here, you could do a lot better in this area. I urge anyone to shop around.
After reading what another tenant wrote, I decided to add a comment as well. I also did not have parking for two weeks when I moved in. They did not tell me that parking was not available until after I had paid the deposit to take the unit off the market. Once I got my space, it was not larce enough for my car and the car next to mine and now I have a series of dents in one side of my car from the other person hitting it repeatedly.
I also have shoddy construction and part of my kitchen was updated before I moved in but was never finished being painted. My hot water rarely works properly and everytime I ask about it they tell me that I am just far away from the heater. They did some random work on my entranceway and left an exposed concrete mess for a week and a half before deciding to finish it.
Additionally, I have so many bugs in my apartment it is like I am outdoors. They spray all the time but it does nothing except make my apartment smell.
For the most part, my neighbors are noisy, inconsiderate and rude. The management often allows several people (especially college students) to live in a small apartment where they have all thier friends over and have loud parties every weekend. Many tenants allow their children to play unsupervised in pool where they run around screaming (this is just dangerous and they are lucky there haven't been any serious accidents). I have spoken to management several times about these problems and they just insist that because I do not like screaming and wind chimes 10 feet from my bedroom window, I must be extremely noise-sensitive. In fact, the management has been rude to me on several occasions, if not downright mean.
