I've lived here 9 years and would have moved earlier but I really haven't found a better place for the price. The management has always responded to any concerns and the amenities are solid. I've recommended the place to two friends and one family member, all of whom lived here for 2 years each and still say they miss the pool. Be aware that it has come to the attention of many of us here who like where we live that a single individual is flaming them over some gripe. Ignore the negative posts. The place is clean, well managed and respectful of their residents. They just renovated the entire exterior and landscaping of the complex, something most apartments in LA don't bother doing anymore.

While I agree with you that the grounds are nice, you couldn't be more misleading about the amenities. I notice you do not provide any specifics. Try these on for size: my oven wouldn't fit a standard cookie sheet, no microwave, no AC, horrible ventilation in the bathroom, paper-thin walls, chipmunk-infested rooftops, plus a tiny bedroom. And Acadia, I'm obviously not the only one who feels this way, contrary to your review.
