Nice little corner of West Los Angeles

I've lived at West Park Village for a little over three years now and I'm happy to call it home. I have second floor poolside apartment, which can be a little noisy when kids are at the pool. However, I love the view and the convenience of being just steps away from pool deck. My apartment has a nice floorplan with a balcony and receives lots of light. In addition, the location of the complex is great with lots of trees and greenery that gives it a park like atmosphere. The location is also close to the 405 & 10 freeways, about 10 minutes drive to the beach and Santa Monica shops. There are very cool restaurants within walking distance on Santa monica Blvd. and a short drive away on Wilshire Blvd. I personally like the restaurants and shops in the Japanese enclave on Sawtelle Blvd., which is about 5 Minutes away. So some might complain about the amount of rent, but it is quite reasonable when compared to similar complexes in the very desireable West side location.

The management has always been attentive to my maintenance requests and is pleasant to deal with. Management has been very proactive in making improvements to the complex. Recent projects have included a full exterior painting, replaced railings, and updated landscaping. In addition, management hosts several resident appreciation BBQ's and a Chistmas party throughout the year.

Of course living in an apartment complex always comes with some problems like a noisy neighbor or the occasional inconvenience, but to me that is expected. When it happens, I just deal with it or contact management when it becomes an ongoing issue. I've never encountered any situation at West Park Village that made me want to move.

Overall, I've been very happy with my residency at West Park Village and plan to continuing living there for the forseable future. My rent includes additional fees for storage and parking.
