This property has been repeatedly bought and sold over the years and has gotten progressively worse w/each new owner. The current owner is RW Selby who are notorious for poor treatment of their tenants and bad upkeep of property. I was a dependable tenant for 7 1/2 years and they are trying to cheat me out of most of my security deposit when I left the apt immaculate. The complex is constantly under construction that involves superficial renovation that doesn't enhance the quality of the complex but just creates constant upheaval, noise and incovenience -- the purose of the constant constuction apparently is to justify the maximum 3% rent increase every year allowed under rent control if "improvements" are made. One such improvement was several months of waking up tenants in the early morning to jack hammer out the jacuzzi that everyone used and replace it w/ another fountain that nobody wanted. Constant plumbing problems, flooding, power outages, trash overflows, etc. Currently involved w/ its tenants in a class action lawsuit over health, safety and contractual violations. Avoid living here at all costs. About as much "luxury" as a Bagdad hotel.

AMEN TO THAT This place SUCKS. Ignorant, stupid management that make Basil Fawlty look as compassionate as the Buddha, noisy as hell, people leaving trash in the hallways, writing on the walls near the elevators and putting their footprints on the walls... ...this place is a joke and not even a funny one. Buy a tent, move to the country and live in a field. You'll be SO much better off
