Pros:

- Nice apartment community.
- Great facilities such as nice gym, heated pool, free internet, printer (if and when it is working)
- Covered parking (only one spot per apartment)
- New washers and dryers (recently installed. Earlier ones were bad)
- Reasonably safe(although you may be disturbed occasionally from all sorts of solicitors)
- Apartment office can receive and hold packages for you. Great convenience.
- Christine, one of the leasing consultants, was friendly and nice (at least to me)
- Responsive maintenance. Nothing seriously broke during my stay. For minor things, they were prompt.
- AC, heat and appliances work well.

Cons:
- Too noisy. People play music aloud. Domestic quarrels are way too common.
- Too expensive. Especially if you do not much use all facilities such as pool, gym etc.
- Many office staff are insensitive and have 'don't care' attitude. Some can be down right rude. Especially that lanky black woman has attitude problem. (not Christine).Office staff does not care or pay attention to residents at all.
- They will not return your full security deposit regardless of how great you kept the place and how well you cleaned it before moving out. Be happy if they return at least half of your original deposit. This is the first place which refunded only partial deposit. I have rented many places on the east coast and every place refunded me in full. These people charge for painting and cleaning. They don't treat them as normal wear and tear. Blatant fleecing.
- They may offer you a discount on initial deposit. That's just to make you sign the lease. They will deduct it as part of cleaning and additionally eat into your part of deposit as well. In my case, deposit was $500. They offered $200 discount for same day signing. Ultimately returned only 180 bucks. Basically ate off 120 bucks from 'real' deposit. Shame on you Westside Terrace. You suck!!!!
- Even if you are paying rents promptly, they will not hesitate to charge late fee even if you are a day late even during unforeseeable situations like travel etc.
- They had to shutdown water quite a few times for repairs. Once it was without any notice at all. That too right in the morning. Had to shower at work.
- Despite on site security and gated community, strangers and suspicious characters show up all the time asking for donations etc. What are those overweight security guys doing out there'
- Apartments are too small and suffocating without nice windows. There is only patio or balcony for studios which also serves as the window.

If you just need a nice roof over your head, there are much cheaper accommodation available in the area. Why pay so much for unethical Westside Terrace' aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
