I have lived here for only 5 months now and highly regret it. Yes, the building (I'm at the barrington building) is a really nice building, good location, and the apartments are big and well kept, but the office staff is horrid. They are obviously run by a huge corporation and have no sympathy are compassion for their tenants. Everything is very much by the book, and in doing so they have completely cut out the humanity aspect. It is just a business. All they care about is getting as much money as they can. They serve lease violation notices for the smallest things, many of which are NOT lease violations. They scare you into submission and charge you for everything that normal buildings wouldn't, they try and squeeze every last penny they can. They are not accommodating of their tenants needs and very hypocritical. Equity is always saying (in brochures, websites etc) about how they are all about helping with your needs, but this isn't the case at all. They are very rude and nasty and could care less, as long as they get their money. Once you are in a lease, they own you. I feel like I am a prisoner in my own apartment, they are very controlling. They have treated my roommate and I like ---- and have made our time here much less then happy. The worst of the worst is Norma, who is very rude, unkind and judgmental towards us. Although I do think my apartment is very pretty, it is not worth it. I wouldn't recommend Westside Villas to anyone looking, unless they get new management. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
