They've renovated all the apartments with hardwood floors and a built-in microwave, and some with new fridge/stove. They all have a balcony and air conditioning which is a big plus. Hot tub and pool on the roof. The maintenance is very prompt and they are happy to fix any problems within one day usually. One parking spot with 1BR, two spots with a 2BR. Very occasionally noise from neighbors' parties, but not a big problem. Overall I'm happy living there - the hardwood floors are a big plus and there is a lot of light in my apartment. The bedrooms are also a good size. We have a queen bed and there is still a lot of space.

The rent for our 1BR went up a lot (from $1300 to $1450) when we renewed our lease. But the price is still in line with the surrounding area, which is generally outrageous. It is the price you pay to be within walking distance of UCLA. It is also much quieter on Veteran (away from the frats) than other parts of Westwood. Street noise is not bad if you're not directly facing Veteran.
