The Manager is very helpful and friendly. Both I and my wife found ourselves at ease living here for about 1 year. Our apartment was large for being a 1 bedroom, and in good conditions. True, the amenities are useless, but you have LAFitness right around the corner for 30 bucks/m, or Equinox, so we really didn't care. Other places in the hood offer better amenities, but smaller apartments for the same price.
Never had any security issue, this is a very safe and cool area, and you can see this reflected in the rent price. Some of our mail got lost or stolen, but this fact never happened in the last 6 months, so whatever the reason, I think mail is working ok now. Great location to catch public transportation and the UCLA shuttle. My wife worked at UCLA and she could easily walk there in 20 mins

Nonsense. This junk comes up one day after I published my real review. My review publish date 12/13, this one pops up on 12/14. This is either a posting by management, I see a 101% chance of this happening, or they managed to persuade someone to counter my realistic "appraisal" of their attitude, of which I see a negative 1% chance. Two points that I had mentioned in my previous review - mail and their absurd rent, are specifically targeted in this editorial. Management - DO something, take ACTIONS rather than countering discontent by mere WORDS published online. And your argument - that price reflects the "security and peace and quite" of the area is full of garbage. The rent increase you are perpetrating is only because you CAN. Someone recently mentioned to me that Los Angeles was the a*hole of the world and I see that he was true. And many times when you don't go experience this talent of LA it comes inside your apartment to show you this.
