I highly recommend Westwood Villa for anyone wanting a safe and a
great value for living on the Westside! Being safe and having peace
of mind has and will always be among the most important things for me.

I have had a great experience; feel safe and at home living at Westwood Villa.
I m not one to usually post unless I have a negative experience, but
it was through Internet searching that I found this apartment, so I
thought this would help others with this post.

I have had negative experiences in the past and made me skeptical
finding good places to stay that has convenience to shops and is a
safe place to live. As a UCLA alumnus, I have lived in various
apartments near Westwood and found Westwood Villa is one of the safest
place for young professionals.

My boyfriend and I have been living in the building for over a year
now. Due to a job transfer we have to relocate here and my experience
here for over 1 year has been very positive! The building is well
taken care of, the staff is very helpful, it s an ideal comfortable
living area, and everything is wonderful! The people are nice and
others also agree this is a safe and secure place to stay. I have yet
to have any problems or hear of anything related to safety,
maintenance or other problems (this was an issue for me at my other
living place).

I do wish they had more direct front street parking for occassional
visitors but usually if they wait a while parking becomes available
further down the street not too far. Another thing is the building
doesn't allow dogs, which was tough to compromise.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, nice,
reasonably priced place to stay that is one block from to many
convenient stores, malls, restaurants, shops and markets.

We always leave the front door of our apartment open for our friends
and appreciate the fact that the demographics of the people staying
here are mature, responsible, and cautious of any unknown residents
and watch out for each other s safety. There is a security guard 7
days a week to maintain the security of the complex just in case.

Again, I normally don t put up postings, but feel this is a great
place to stay and hope this helps with your apartment search; it s
definitely worth taking a tour! Good luck!

... Really? Do you work for Moss and Company? "Security guard 7 days a week to maintain the security of the complex just in case" -- are you kidding me? Do you live here? Because I have lived here for 10 months now and I have yet to see a security guard present for an entire week. Every so often I'll see one, parked in his car inside the complex, scaring me at 4am to let him out because he doesn't have a clicker to open the gate, or sitting in his car, on the other side of the gate... asleep by midnight, usually. What is he going to do if something happens to me inside the lot? Wave his flashlight beam at the perp? Though my apartment is nice on the inside, this complex as a whole is dirty, the pool has been "under repairs" the entire summer (it is now almost mid-July), there is mold on the walls of the parking lot as well as water puddles from the pipes, and WAY overpriced to be in this shape... and for the 6 times a month security guard who sleeps on the job.
