I live is this building and I was totally outraged about all the racist and elistis comments made by people living in my building!! Some people think because they have money they have the right to be jerks and kick people out of a place that they have been living in for years. I am a student (relativly young) and I hate this so called "hip" place, and not because of the neighborhood. I love the neighborhood and the people in it. I can rent movies for $2.00 and get a pizza for $5. I have a feeling that the reason that they keep requesting entrance into apartments is because they are looking for reasons to evict people who are under rent control. I read an article about this in the LA times today. They can evict you for having an unauthorized pet (even a gold fish) and disconnecting your fire alarms!

I really can't beleive how racist you guys are!!!! And to dis' poor people so bad...jeez!! Poor people have a right to live in Los Angeles too!! Anyways, I'm glad I haven't gotten to know many of my neighbors because of lot of you sound like JERKS!!

I wrote this original post. I was just responding to the previous comments on this website that had made me really mad. Royaletenant...I don't understand your comment, "the whole world is conspiring against you". My comment had nothing to do with myself, but was a response to the comments people had made about people in the neighborhood and people who live in the building. As far as the apartments go, they're not bad. The inside of the apartments are very nice...I always got compliments when people visited me. I loved the view. The noise from the restaurant was very loud, and I sometimes would scream out the window telling them to shut-up. It wasn't really the music for me, but the loud drunk people talking and laughing loudly past 12am on weekdays. The managment for the most part is nice, but watch out for your deposit...you probably won't get it all. I do like the neighborhood because it's close to downtown and public transit is very accessible. Anyways, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the apartment itself a 7.
