This apartment is not what it seems. On first impression I thought it was beautiful and that the apartments were spacious and clean. Now as i count down the days until my lease runs out it saddens me that it was an unpleasant experience. Things look well maintained but these are VERY old buildings that are falling apart. They are extremely over run with insects. Cockroaches are everywhere as well as many other unidentified spiders, bugs, crawlers, etc... We are constantly putting out traps and spraying things down with insect killer because management will not do anything about it. They are very unresponsive to calls. If anything breaks expect it to be broken for awhile. Only once did we have an emergency clog in the kitchen sink that was flowing over on to the floor. It was garbage water and i had to wait four hours for plummers to come while i was constantly cleaning up the water! I kept calling the office and they said "we told the people above you to stop using their water so it should stop soon." I was appalled by their lack of concern while i was doing everything i could to contain the water and sop it up. Water is always being turned off for broken pipes as well. Elevators are so slow if not usually broken. Noise levels are way to high. You just don't get your bang for your buck here and lack of concern for your well being by the staff is very disappointing. So save your money and rent from a place where you are well treated and you get your money worth.

I agree with most everything. I've been dealing with the ridiculous cockroach problem for months now. They keep popping up. Another thing, when I was out of town for the weekend, I came back to find yellow water coming out of the faucet. Their 100% no-pet policy makes no sense when they let roaches, spiders, and other bugs run around unchecked. For a place that makes you pay for garbage, power, forces you to rent television equipment (instead of using your own), the costs are unreasonable. In fact, I'm currently looking for a new place.

I can definitely agree with the lack of concern and care from the front office staff. We had our car broken into INSIDE the parking garage (which seemed to be open all of the time) and our apartment broken into on a separate occasion and they could really care less. The people across the hall from us had their place broken into as well and they were offered the opportunity to move to the "safer" side of the complex...our side of the complex. What a joke!! You pay too much money for the unfortunate hassles and disturbances that are a constant bother. Plus, how hard is it to carry your laundry up the hall, down some stairs, up some stairs, around the corner and across the bride to grandmother's house?!
