I am a current resident and i have had a couple of problems. Today, the repair guys (never seen these two) came in to check the smog detectors. After they finished they asked me if there where any other problems. So I gave them my problems and they told me that I shouldn't bother with the local office and call Moss & Co directly!!! I was completely intrigued, but they did end up fixing one of my problems on the spot. So I guess that they(corporate) is trying to improve customer service. They fixed more things in three weeks that they did in the past 3 years... I guess its a company shake-up!

I lived in the complex for several years and left five years ago. The repair guys have always been excellent. In fact, I soon learned to go to them directly and cut out the Rental Office altogether. Corporate shakeup? Who knows?

Less demand for apartments right now, maybe they're trying to keep the residents they currently have.

I know for sure they've changed some of the staff at the Rental Office. I'm a tenant and I've noticed this change lately. The current staff is not great, but they are definitely better than the ones we've had in the past. You can't change anything about the building though. It's still old and not well-maintained. Last time I went to do the laundry, the room looked like a war zone. There were many broken machines. Neighbors were taking finished laundry out and placing them on top of the machines because not too many machines were available. Don't be fooled by "on-sight" laundry. You might have to take your laundry to a Laundromat to get it done.
Also, the rent is too high for what this building actually offers. If you're planning on renting there, make sure to inquire about the rules and regulations first. There are amenities, but the rules attached to each area makes it difficult to enjoy these amenities at times, so check out the rules first. As far as I know, I see more people moving out than moving in. Maybe this was the trigger for the "shake-up," but in my opinion, the rent is way too much for this area and for this kind of building.
