The only good thing about this place is the location and the view of LA from one of the pools. Ever since I moved in I've been beset with problems. On the day of my move-in I was welcomed by roaches. After that Every single that is supposed to be working, doesn't.

The maintenance guys do a shoddy job and claim the work is done. If you really want to get something done you have to take a day off. Apart from that the noise from Overland ave is maddening and the only avenue of fresh air is to keep your doors open and take in the recycled corridor air.

Avoid.

This posting has brought back memories for me. If you climb on to the roofs on July 4th, you can get a really good view of LA with all the fireworks. It's against the rules to do it but what the heck. Also, if you go to the very end of the complex, near to the French Institute, and go to the top floor, you can see the Hollywood sign, but only on a very clear, sunny day.

I just moved out after 5 years. My biggest issue is with the noise of Overland Ave, and the soot that comes from all the trucks that have to rev their engines to get up the hill. The dust on the window sills is BLACK.
