As a foreigner (Canadian) to this wonderful State, I was a bit nervous moving to the Silicon Valley region. I personally picked out the apartment, due to location and bus routes. But to my surprise this apartment complex is in a FABULOUS location. The town of Los Gatos is gorgeous. Nice day and night life. The apartment is literally steps away from the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Walk to shopping/groceries/chiropractor/restaurants and tonnes of local coffee shops that are to die for. Mirrored walls in every room is a bit tough to get used to. The Infamous Green Towels, really aren't that bad. My apartment came FULLY furnished, including a telephone and answering machine (which sounds like the perons leaving the message is underwater!) and clock radio. Little carpet swiffer thing. All I had to do was buy measuring cups and a laundry basket.
The grounds look nice.. not bad. Haven't been near the pool yet.. but looks nice, with small jacuzzi.
Fridge is loud, stove cooks WAY to fast.. burnt almost all my food at first. Shower pressure is good. Laundry is fast and dryers are efficient. 1.00 per load.
Sol and hubby' aren't bad.. not the friendliest, but not the worst. The maids don't seem to have a set day, which is difficult as I sleep nights.. Nice furniture, king size bed is a great treat.
So-less than 1800/month, how much less I don't know, but all is included, except phone charges. Two TV's, both good sizes (27"') Lots of closet space in bedroom. Good shower pressure.. heads are dirty though.
