Don't listen to these guys

I stumbled onto these reviews because I am searching for an apartment in texas and could only find negative reviews everywhere. Things sounded terrible, like a warzone, so I thought I would read the reviews of the apartments I know and what a surprise, I also apparently live in a third world country based on the reviews.

First off, the rent is a little steep but that's because there are always people who want to move in and the demand drives up the prices. I moved here in 2005 and was paying 655 for a one bedroom, now it's 2008 and I pay 695. Not much of an increase considering an apartment is never empty and they could charge way more.

There is a washer and dryer included in the apartment and I have never had any problems with them breaking. My air conditioning broke a couple of times but Ken, the maintenance man and the managers were very professional in fixing it as quickly as possible. Any problems I had were dealt with quickly including a door lock breaking, a leaking airconditioner, a broken shower door, etc. they were on it fast.

I see security out at night almost everytime i go to my car so I don't know what that person was talking about. I am a young male but I think even if i were a female I would still feel totally safe in these apartments. I have never heard of anything happening here. I have never heard of any break-ins, robberies, there is no reason for that person to imply that it is dangerous outside. My wife would say the same thing. These apartments cost more because of many reasons, one is that they are safer than most others because the standards for tenants are higher.

My old neighbors were very problematic. the cops were there several times and the high school kids there were really mean, harassing a few residents and always fighting. The manager and the staff got rid of them. The point is they maintain a good living environment.

The grounds are always clean, they do landscaping every wednesday and it looks very nice. The tiny gym is always clean. If you pay your rent on time and act like a normal human being, the manager and staff will treat you wonderfully because they are geniunely good people. If you are always late, rude, and abusive, you probably get treated like you deserve.

Parking has almost always been good, although lately it's been a little more crowded.

I've never seen anything but a few flies in my apartment. They spray once a month and bugs are taken care of.
The pool is very nice and clean, I wish there were more than just the universal weight machine, eliptical machine, and exercise bike in the gym but it's sufficient to get a workout.

Once again, I have never seen grafiti, vandalism, or any indication that this place is unsafe.
I have only seen one part with teenagers in the two and a half years i've been here and nothing happened.

I would highly recommend these apartments, they are excellent. Keep in mind that most of the people who review their apartments do so because they are driven by anger and want some sort of revenge. Content people do not generally search their apartment and take time to talk about how great it is.
