Horrible! We had no idea until recently of the problems with Laurel Glen and their treatment of young ??--------?? tenants. But truly had I known Laurel Glen was racist I would HAVE never moved in. Yes, nice grounds but horrible treatment of residence. Lots of problems with mildew- moisture build-up. Only one spot available for parking, so we were forced to park along the apartment complex. In three months our cars were vandalized 4 separate times. One night someone actually backed into our car and smashed the hood in. When I complained to Lauren Glen management they said call the police. When I complained to police they responded check with Lauren Glen "They supposedly have cameras for that kind of stuff since its so frequent" In the beginning of moving in, I received complaints (claiming we were having parties, making loud noises, towels hanging outside, parking limitations and smoking) almost every week either about something we supposedly had done, until I went to the police and obtained copies of complaints against other tenants from their police records and faxed to Laurent Glen apartment management. That sort of stopped that problem. And when our lease was up and we could FINALLY move out, we only received 10% of our deposit... and that??s after we had the carpets professionally done and the walls washed down. The apartment looked totally awesome when we moved out (several friends remarked that the apartment actually looked better than when we had moved in---but that??s another story). And then to have only received less than 10% of our deposit back Terrible! Do NOT live here!
