Awful Place... the Management Staff is the Worst!!!

We have lived at Sandpiper apartments for a year and a half, and there have been problems since day one. While the spacious size of the apartments, and the friendly maintenance staff have been nice, everything else has been horrible. The appliances are all out of date. The paint is so cheap it chips around the door frames and floor boards. The locks on the apartments, mail room, and laundry room are always breaking. The trees leave sap everywhere, ruining shoes, and apartment and auto carpets. Spiders, moths and ants are another disgusting and all too common problem.
Security is a huge problem. Our laundry is stolen out of the laundry room at least once a month. The gate has been destroyed multiple times. And when it is operable, the remotes do not work half of the time. Noise is another annoying problem. Every single noise made upstairs, from toilets flushing to drawers opening, can be heard. The people who live here on site are rude, playing music in their cars loud enough for all to hear. The children of those living on site are loud, rude, and foul-mouthed. They will walk in front of your moving car, push your three year old down in the park, and destroy all of the fire extinguishers placed on site for the safety of the residents. The adults are just as bad, letting their children run around unsupervised, or at times acting just aas rude and annoying as their children.
Parking is another huge problem. While there is one spot reserved for each apartment, some families feel that they have the right to commandeer an extra parking space, even if that means you lose your space. The absolute worst problem residents of Sandpiper must deal with, however, is the management staff. Those who work in the office attempt to make those who complain feel guilty about complaining in the first place. They tell you that no one else has a problem with whatever the issue may be, which is ridiculous when you know for a fact that others have complained about the problem. Any time you do have a complaint, it takes days for it to be solved, if it is ever even taken care of. The most frustrating staff member is one of the rudest, and most condescending, people that I have ever met. If there were a way to contact the owner of this property, I would do so and let them know that this woman should not be in a position which requires her to talk to people. Her rudeness knows no bounds, when one comlains to her, they should expect to be berated. She does not seem to realize that it is her job to help the residents!

I just read the postings. I know people who live here now or have lived here and have asked them about the comments you have posted. No one else has had any of the problems you have spoke about. Makes me wonder if this is a personal issue, rather than a general concensus. What I find funny is that the original posting mentioned they have been there for over a year. Why are you still living there? That sounds kind of stupid; don't you think? I don't know about you, but, I was raised that if I didn't like the service, I wouldn't pay for it. It can't be that bad if you are still living at the same place you describe as "awful place". You are contridicting yourself - how silly! Anyways, I wouldn't stay anywhere that I hated. What is your reason for staying? Or are you just one of those people who like to complain - like someone who doesn't vote, then complains about economic or political policies that don't benefit you. Get an education, or change your situation... just doesn't make sense to me!

my gosh, you sure took that posting personal. Makes me wonder if you work for the office yourself? Why do you care? If you live in an apartment, you should know what it is like to be locked into a lease! You sound silly. By telling someone to get an education is completely offensive. Maybe you lack education yourself...certainly sounds like you lack caring, compassion and tact. Maybe you should get a life.
