I lived here when it was Kingswood Village & stayed throughout the ownership changes.
I thought everything was fine at first.
The garage is not safe & they never close the gates. Somebody had vandalized my car in feb 2006. The gates were always open and there were vagrants residing al over the other buildingings that were not through being renovated(ask ethe MDR police dept about the 30 arrests they had to make last month beacuse of that).As soon as I let the front office know, all of a sudden, they claimed I did not pay my May 2005 rent(they let something like that slip up for 9 months)'
I provided the accountant with a copy of the cashed check from the bank & that was not sufficient enough. They tried bullying me into paying it, until I had a lawyer get involved.
The security here is awful. the gates are never locked & to my surprise last nite, I was walking up to my apartment( the elevators are not working for the next 2 weeks and we have no choice but to use the stairs which anyone from off teh street can access)and tehre was a bum passed out in the stairwell area. I called teh police to have him removed. I guess they decided to fix the elevator after having a 4 year old expired elevator permit
When I informed the front office about this, I was told that there is a security guard here(BS!The security guard is here to protect all of the window panes for the new apartments they are constructing and is never anywhere to be found) and that it was not my place to feel unsafe or call the cops.
People park in other peoples' spots here & they never do anything about it .
The security they promise is lame here & all of these ammenities are not even completed yet!
