Though the person who took us on a tour and helped with the paperwork was very nice, everyone else was not.
We were lied to about the application process. Person A told us this will be acceptable. Person B stated the same. Of course, just for the official touch, THE manager had to say yes. We were so excited. Today, we received a call that the MANAGER DECIDED not to let us rent because what we were told, by 2 people on staff, was wrong. I was stunned. I could not believe we had been lied to.
When I insisted on speaking to the decision maker, she told me "It is corporate policy. There is nothing I can do. I can apologize for the staff that misinformed you."
Honeslty, I did have a feeling we would not be accepted. Though VERY excited by the tour and the beauty of the never lived in before space, my inner feeling was that there was just loads of pretty paper but the package was filled with rotten eggs.
I would never recommend this place because of the lies by so many staff and the shabby treatment received by THE management.
For those that will think the staff might have been misinformed, the tour guide knew these things were against corporate policy. She told me today when she called. She was also off when her co-workers lied about the process and reassured us the apartment was ours. We received a welcome packet and information about having the utilities turned on, etc.

very vague. you couldve given further details like what was lied to you about and what was the misinformation. you also said you did have a feeling that you would not be accepted. so my guess is, the manager did the right thing by correcting the wrong decision made! in all fairness................

Well, this is odd. I just received the email that stated someone had responded to my post today, February, 2008. Old news. And, who cares by now??
