So Archstone seems nice enough. From the outside it looks well kept, but when you get in a lease everything changes.

Elevators are constantly broken. The staff is rude. If they have a problem with something you are doing or if rent is even one day late they post a note on your door like a scarlet letter. I walk by my neighbors doors and get full information on the full name of all residents and what they pay a month. That's comforting. Oh and no leasing agent here has ever lasted more than about a month. They can't even keep people EMPLOYED here, how can you expect people to pay to live here''

And don't even start me on the price. They recently raised the rent again to pay for a pricey remodeling job in their lobby. Every single person that lives here that I have spoken to is outraged by this. It looks tacky and is costing us cash. Not to mention stupid rules. No doormats' And then they take away all the trashcans' Seriously'

Please take my advice and skip this terrible apt. complex.
