The rents here are astronomical. Marina del Rey has no rent control. The dog park is the biggest nuisance. The barking is non-stop and starts at 5am and ends at midnight. Dog owners here are clueless. They think it's cute that they're little toy dogs yipe and screech at high pitches. There are always dog fights and screaming coming from the dog park.
There are a lot of college kids here, smoke pot, blast music and run up and down the halls in the middle of the night. Also, there is a lot of trashy, low class people here too. There is a inconsiderate couple in my building who use their balcony like a living room. They are out there all day and night, talking on the phone loudly, blasting music, smoking, getting drunk, screaming and howling like a idiots until 4am every night. Complained to Management and they have done absolutely nothing about it.
The pool and hot tub are filthy. I actually got a skin infection from it.

There are way more places to live that don't accept dogs. I do not care for this place but the fact they are dog friendly is a plus.
