The hassle of a location

I say that because the location is hard to beat. The Marina is beautiful and the beach is a few blocks down the road. The price is not bad considering the location.
Now for the hassle. The office staff is not the friendliest group you'll ever meet, and if you need maintenance done in your apartment, you'll be waiting. The maintenance staff themselves are very nice, though it usually takes 2-3 times for them to fix things correctly. The laundry rooms are dead-bolted at 10pm even though each tenant gets a key to the regular lock on the laundry room doors. This can be amazingly frustrating if you work late and need to do laundry during the week.
The walls are very thin like people have stated before, and it's easy to hear almost too much from next door. This may be partly due also to the fact that it's eerily quiet outside at night around this complex. Electric and gas bills seem to be unusually high.
Parking is horrible for guests.
