Tired of the hostile women in office

Office staff (I hesitate to call them management) has a real us-against-them mentality, and they take no pains to hide their contempt for tenants. They lose packages, complain constantly about how rough they have it and don't bother to keep track of maintenance requests so the same things break over and over. When I reported a plumbing problem I had for the THIRD TIME in six months, the older woman there said, "We all have problems." She made it clear she wasn't going to lift a finger. The maintenance workers are nice, but they don't make up for the nastiness of the women in the office. Nor does the owner maintain the apartments well enough to justify his yearly rent increase of 8%. (When we moved in the leasing agent stressed that they did NOT plan to raise the rent, ha - don't fall for that one.) I'm moving with my roommate into a new apartment that's nicer, professionally managed and costs substantially less. It's in West LA, not the Marina but hey, I'd rather drive to the beach a couple of times a month than pay a premium for the bad attitude.
