Great & Not So Great

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2006
Have lived in the Marina quite a long time - we were sold a ration of goods when we first moved in about being able to relocate to another apt later, no fee for 2nd parking space (wrong), no fee for storage (wrong), we've had downstairs neighbors who BBQ 3 - 5 times a week and stink up our 3rd floor apartment, and they are quite rude as well - they even stole our bicycles from the parking structure at one point. We are at the front of the building and face the street and the cul-de-sac is suprisingly noisy - with honking cars, partiers coming home late etc.
On the plus side - the units are large, the wet bar is a great addition, balconies are generour, view is great, proximity to beach is terrific. We used to live at Villa Venetia on the other side of the Marina - exact same floor plans, nicer management (at the time) and much nicer neighbors. Villa Venetia was a COMMUNITY where everyone got together and BBQd had sunset cocktails and socialized. In comprison Dolphin Marina is just an apartment complex, you may get to know a few neighbors pretty well - but most won't even greet with you a hello and a smile.
