All the complaints about this place are true. The noise from the street is constant, the trash pickup is unbearably loud, the maintenance people are extremely slow and the staff is generally unprofessional. The price of these units is far too high for what you get. The carpet was "new" in my unit when I moved in, but there is no underlay, and the pile is so cheap that every time I vaccuum it sucks up the fibers and stops up the vaccuum. The smells from other apartments and the Charthouse Restaurant leak in no matter how much you try to seal them out -- deep fried fish, diesel fuel from the boats, pot smoke and cigarette smoke from the neighbors. it is incredibly hot and then terribly cold because there's no insulation. I am trying to get out of my lease already. Spare yourself and keep moving. Construction across the harbor is constant from 8am until 6pm Monday to Saturday. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

Next time choose a rent controlled area then you are guaranteed a lesser rent increase. It sounds to me like you all didn't do any fact checking before accepting your lease. You saw a beautiful area and thought "Sign me up." In New York the apartments are going for the same price as in Marina del rey/Dolphin Marina and you get no views, pools, trees, microwaves etc... try living there and you will then appreciate a place like The Dolphin. And don't think for one minute that drugs are not being used in your newly found location drugs are every where and you don't have control over it no matter where you live. Grow up! you all sound like a bunch of spoiled brats...whine, whine, whine
