I've been here two years, and if I wish to renew for a third year lease then my rent will have gone up nearly 50% (about $1000) from when I first started living here.

Noisy location, not helped by the loud staff walkie talkies all over the place.

Rusty water in my unit, and burst pipes in units near mine, are not reassuring.

Do you do drugs' Then move in here, because they don't care what you do.

The management staff is very poor, and does not respond to questions or complaints, whether or not you put them in writing. Forget about any kind of maintenance on your unit, no matter how much you request it.

They "clean" the halls every day, but that's really just sloshing around mucky water everywhere and letting it sit.

Nice location, though. Not worth the price or discomfort any longer.

Next time choose a rent controlled area then you are guaranteed a lesser rent increase. It sounds to me like you all didn't do any fact checking before accepting your lease. You saw a beautiful area and thought "Sign me up." In New York the apartments are going for the same price as in Marina del rey/Dolphin Marina and you get no views, pools, trees, microwaves etc... try living there and you will then appreciate a place like The Dolphin. And don't think for one minute that drugs are not being used in your newly found location drugs are every where and you don't have control over it no matter where you live. Grow up! you all sound like a bunch of spoiled brats...whine, whine, whine.
