The apartments are really big and have nice large balconies. The heat sucks but you really don't need it. There is no AC and at times is can be warm, especially the top floors. The kitchen and bathroom's look nice. However the building is very old. There are 20 coats of paint on the wall which can cause it to crack for no reason. The kitchen cabinets have been painted so many times many of them stick and don't close properly. The carpeting is very low quaility and is not replaced very often. The walls and ceilings are fairly quiet. Also because of the age the windows and doors do not open easily.

There are great pools and large common ares that are awesome. The parking is also very good with a lot of visitor parking. The location is a fun area to live in but difficult to commute anywhere. Beautiful views and very easy to get to the beach. Also a very safe area, however there is NO gated parking and in my three years here there was one incident with a violent robbery in the parking garage.

The major downside is the management is very rude and extremely lazy. There is storage that is available on site to rent. When I requested a storage closet it took 5-10 phone calls to finally get someone to show it to me. Since they make money off of storage rentals this baffled me. Repair requests are often ignored or fixed so poorly that they break again.

Finally the rental rate is very high. While you do get a large place in a very nice area the building is extremely old and does not have nearly the security of newer buildings.
