The management is charging us over a $1000 for living there over a year because we painted the walls the wrong type of white (the paint we used was too shiny, which cost us $400) and for some stains on the carpet ($700 ). There was no severe damage, just normal wear and tear, and we are paying big bucks so they can fund their construction projects.
