I have lived here for 10 years. I used to recommend this place to everyone. Maintenance staff was terrific. They began renovations about three years ago, and even then, it wasn't bad here. But now ... Do not move here!! Management has apparently decided it isn't worth it to keep their tenants happy any longer. They are ripping out large sections of inside walls wthout any regard to the people living there; cleanup and patch work after the construction work is nonexistant; maintenance no longer responds to requests for service, unless you dog them day after day; requests for simple upgrades or repair of worn out appliances, carpeting, paint, etc. -- nearly always granted in the past -- are routinely denied now. The front office now sullenly writes your request or complaint on a note pad and god knows where it goes after that, because there is never a returned phone call or follow-up. (I get the impression they write it down, then toss the note in the trash.) The transformation in service since we first moved here has been amazing. As I said, I used to brag about living here and recommend it highly. Now, I wouldn't advise ANYONE to attempt making a home at Marina Harbor. There was a drastic change around the beginning of 2007 and Marina Harbor has decided to give their tenants the shaft. Maybe they are condo-izing and don't care if renters move out' All I know is -- what used to be a delight is now a nightmare.
