If you are looking here you are probably hunting for a place to live around in this neighborhood. DO NOT consider this place by all means! Take it from a resident that's been here for four years.

I agree to the previous comments on this site, constant construction is going on with no peace what so ever!! Constructors yelling, singing out of tune, shouting on their cell phones etc.

Peace and quiet is the last thing that you will find here, that is if you ever do find it here!

The management just cares about your money and does not care about your privacy, peace and well being.

I like this location but my patience has finally run out and it's time for me to move out and find a more relaxing place which I think is going to be real easy compared to this complex from HELL!!

They lie and tell you how long any one particular project might be that is coming up. So, if something is coming up let's say in June, deck refinishing or something and it's going to take 3 months, they'll tell you that the project coming up will take 3 months. But they don't tell you that there are 10 projects planned after that and each one will take 3 months or 30 months total or however long it takes. Very sneaky!!! Don't move here!

So true. They have left the buildings on Tahiti half-finished. All the workers have disappeared. Balconies are demolished, with no railings. A true nightmare this place.

I love this community, we have been here for almost 3 1/2 years now. I think that all of the negative comments posted are from mostly people who have lived here for 100 years and are afraid of change and increased rents. This area is one of the nicest in Los Angeles, and even the Westside. Where else can you got to almost any wonderful restaruant and wear flipflops, and jeans, but eat great food in a cool atmosphere? I will pay full price for this area and I do think Marina Harbor is worth it too. I agree that it has been a mess around here during the construction....but we have not had an increase in our rent for over 3 years and our friends who live down the street have had over $400 in rent raises over the same 3 years. I feel that is reasonable for living through this construction! And again, we are happy that it will be ending soon, but we expect to stay on for years to come. We love it here!
