Don't believe the last review...it's fake

The day I would give this place a 5 for review. You know it's a staff member trying to save their job after such poor reviews (probably -----, the ----- in resident services)
The ONLY good aspect of this place is the landscape. The leasing agents make you think you are moving into paradise, when really you can look forward to having your car towed (probably numerous times), management telling you what you can and cannot have on your balcony and in storage, constant complaints if you have more than one guest over in the common areas (including complaints of children having fun in the pool on a Saturday afternoon), old and bitter neighbors, rent increases every year, and poor response to maintenance calls (of which there are many due to the interior decay...mold inside the walls, dirt seeping up from the carpet underlay and rotting wood in the kitchen cabinets...all of which are covered up when you move in, but appear after a few months)
There are many other great places to live in the marina. Try the Oakwood, we are moving there as soon as our lease expires.

I posted the last review and I am definitely not a staff member. I have never had my car towed (nor have any of my guests, I got extending parking passed when they visited), I have always had prompt responses to maintenance calls (leaking shower and poorly fitting door),and also take pride in making my balcony not look like a slum. Yes I agree they have rules at Marina Harbor, but they are all very easy to abide by and help the residents who follow them have a nicer place to live.

I agree with this review; the prior poster has got to be kidding. Sure you get "extended" parking passes . . . for 3 days. After that they tell you to "park in a pay lot" or be towed. Management are LIARS. Go in and ask to talk to the manager (------) or assistant manager (-----). You will be told they are "on the property" as if they ever leave their office. They just want you to go away. They never call back. Complain and they threaten to raise your rent. And since when is having three mismatched chairs on your balcony a "slum?" That's what got me a nasty letter. STAY AWAY!!

IF true, the "5" is either incredibly ignorant, lucky, or both. Marina Harbor has by far the absolute worst management I have ever seen. Terribly unresponsive. The units are old and show their age--maintenance is horrible, parking is a joke, and vandalism runs amok. Avoid at all costs.
