This is the worst place I have ever lived. Sure the location is great and it looks nice, but the management is awful. First, they are extremely rude. ------will never listen to your concerns, without interrupting you. I have never met more unprofessional office personnel.
The first week we moved in our living-room carpet was completely soaked with water. They had to know down the wall to the outside, and the place was in disarray for about a week. They used our outlet to run an industrial fan for the week, and wouldn't reimburse us for our electric bill which was $130 (normally it's around $50).
This summer water started dripping from my bathroom light fixture, which soaked my rug, towels etc. They fixed the leak, but there was no apology or effort to compensate me for the inconvenience.
Last week, I discover that my carpet is soaking wet again. This time the water leak is in the vanity room and in my closet. Several designer shoes, vintage vinyl records, and other items I had stored in the closet were damaged.
Again, they came to knock down a wall to fix the leak, leaving the apartment in disarray again. I've tried to talk to the manager for over a week about getting reimbursed for the damages, but the manager has neglected my calls. The manager, -----, finally had an assistant call me back saying they will not take any responsibility for the damages, and for me to use my renter's insurance instead, which has a $250 deductible.
The moment you leave anything on the balcony that's not on their list of "approved items" to keep on the balcony (suppose you hang a towel or something out to dry) they'll call you within minutes to complain.
They'll send you newsletters monthly with rude reminders of the rules, such as encouraging you to turn your neighbors in if you notice they have a dog.

A typical Marina Harbor experience. The same thing happened to me twice. Leaks from other apartments flooded mine. They came in to fix it, trashed the ceiling, ripped up the carpet to "dry" it, and never a word of apology. When I called to complain, of course, they took a message and I never heard back. I called and left three messages for -----. Not even a callback. But when I hung the wet towels I had used to clean up the mess on my balcony to dry, I got a nasty note on my door that very day. They have plenty of time when you break their "rules," even unintentionally, but when they screw up, it's too bad for you.

so, it's now been over a month, and nothing has been resolved..I still have a bag of water damaged shoes and molded vinyl records, just waiting for a call back from anyone at Marina Harbor..I think I've called about 8 times and left messages for various managers, and I went down there last weekend only to be told no manager is on duty again.. The 2 times they put the industrial fans in my place my utility bill was $60-$70 more than my monthly average. They promised they'd reimburse me for the difference when I insisted they use their own outlet in the hallway instead...but as I said..after approx. 8 unanswered messages I really doubt they're planning on reimbursing me for any of my damaged items or the utility expense.

This place is an absolute nightmare. Just ask around the number of people who have developed respiratory problems and other ailments here. It must be from the mold.
HORRIBLE.
