good location, but the office (once they have your money) is unfriendly and evasive when it comes to accepting complaints. they always say "you?re the first person to tell us that" when you mention anything about the common areas. however, if you need something fixed in your unit, they are pretty good about it.

the live aboards on the boats are loud, inconsiderate, vulgar and rude. they have dogs running around unleashed causing barking and dogfights, they have all their friends over with loud cars and harleys. you get the picture-it?s like the jerry springer show all the time. the sheriffs are great-they have told us that this area is a known problem area and they are really tring to get the bad element out of here. they have had some success-it's no longer every day that i feel like i'm living near a low rent floating trailer park.

the apartment management also has corporate deals with medical caregivers who rent short term at a reduced rate and are generally fine, but every so often, you can get a real neighbor from hell simply becuase they know they will be here only for 13 weeks. when you try to get help from the office to get a neighbor under control, they put you through so many hoops that by the time the situation is addressed by the office, the short timers stint is up anyway.

the pool is nice, but the temperature isn't reliable. it can go cold and the office desn't seem to think it urgent to get it warm again.

alot of families with kids are moving in creating more noise; the pool is being monopolized by the kids (whose parents make no effort to ask them to be considerate)making the pool unusable during the peak summer months. the office has tried to limit the number of guests, but they do not enforce it.

the security was horrible and they changed companies so it is a little better. alot of people still hop the fence to use the pool and spa.

it's not a bad place, but be prepared to pay
west side rent and not get the kind of service you should expect.
