The saying you get what you pay for never rings more true than Mariners Bay. There is a reason why it is the cheapest place in the Marina. A constant issue with termites, roaches and spiders. Shake it off all you want...like clockwork they appear nearly on a daily basis.
A TON of short term renters (who work as roving hospital people) make it feel like a temp housing place.
Unless you are on the top floor you hear your neighbors every breathe the ceilings are that thin.
Maybe it was just my building (#3) but every weekend security was called ince there were about 6 inconsiderate people who would party until the wee hours of the weekend.
On the plus side, you are on the water and teh maintanence staff was helpful.
The elevators are a major issue as they always break down.
The management office might be the worst I have ever dealt with. I told them once of a roach issue (about 16 running around at once) in the bath and it took them 3 weeks to get an exterminator in...ultimately I did it myself.
If I had died, I would have considered Mariners Bay going to Hell. Consider this before moving in.

I lived in that same building for 2 years and have never seen security in that building(about 30 apartments surrounding a courtyard). I also have never had a bug problem. I think the above resoponse was by some guy who's mad because he can't pay rent and got kicked out. Mariners Bay is a wondeful and quiet place to live. I love it here and will continue to live here for years to come!
