WORST MANAGEMENT EVER!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I was all set and ready to move in until I was told that my rental application was declined just 3 days before I'm supposed to pick up my keys!! I have a perfect rental history and credit and have never been denied at any complex before but they rejected us because both tenants need to make 2.5 times the rent INDIVIDUALLY to qualify. I tried to tell the manager that I do make 2.5 times the rent but they don't factor the bonus into the equation and I was even willing to furnish bank statements, pay stubs, etc. but was shunned. We signed the lease and put our deposit down 2 weeks ahead and they wait till 3 days before move in to tell us we've been denied. I have lived in over 6 apartment complexes and NEVER have I experienced such an UNPROFESSIONAL, flat out RUDE manager!! She was robotic and uncapable of human emotions, trying to blame us for not following through even though we provided everything they asked at all times. I can't even imagine what it'd be like if I lived here, considering how rude they were in turning us down. Apparently, a child molester can live here (a fact that i confirmed through management and Megan's Law) but we can not because they think that a couple with a combined $75,000 income can not afford a $1,575 unit' You do the math! They want each person to qualify because they're afraid couples will split up and thus, not be able to afford the rent. Last I checked, even married couples get divorced, and that's what craigslist is for, to find new roommates should problems arise! For them to assume that we would be unable to pay the rent, frankly I don't know how they calculate that, especially when they don't accept bank statements. I have never taken the time to post or complain about anything, but to be DISRESPECTED by a manager like this must be shared to avoid future tenants this headache...
