Great space / not great Mgmt.

Management makes up feel like you are so lucky to live there and that you're bothering them with the small things. You leave messages at resident services and it takes 2-days to get a call-back. When you walk in to ask a question, they look at you like you're interrupting them.
They may give you a good deal on the first year, but they upped my rent by $200. per month after year-1 -- and I didn't know it in time to find a new place, so I just stayed on for year-2. When I got my letter at lease-renewal time, and had questions, the person who sent me the letter had a hard time answering them. Even she did not understand what she had written!
It's all about the neighbors. The resident services does little to silence barking dogs & loud music lovers, so just cross your fingers during move-in that you'll be lucky. During the summer you have to keep windows open, so could end up a victim of the loud environment if you're not lucky.
Visitor parking is a nightmare.
I love my actual apartment. I love the property. I hate my across the way neighbor who plays George Michael "gotta have faith" 3x in a row before moving on. I hate the barking dog in the next building. I hate the disinterested and unhelpful employees in resident services. I can't wait to move out, and it makes me sad that I have to...
