Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived at Mariners Village for one year in a one bedroom apartment. While yes, I was wowed by the beauty of the place with all of the waterfalls n'such, what greeted me when I acutally started to LIVE there was the other "noises". Noises being my lovely middle aged neighbors having sex at 3:00. Noises being my heavy footed upstairs neighbor stomping around. Noises also being hearing everyone in the hallway who passes by or sneezes. Not well insulated at all.
Also the asbestos in the celing made me very uneasy. This is 2006! They need to spend a few thousand cleaning that stuff up!!
The staff is another whole animal. They cant seem to keep anybody for more than a few weeks. They truly are a mess! Nobody knows anything about anything! Totally rude as well. Although the guy who rented me the apartment was cool and seemed to know what he was talking about, I never delt with him again as I was passed off to "Resident Services". Yikes.
Dont expect to have anyone over for company either..there is NO guest PARKING. Horrendus!
Bottom line..Dont jugde a book by its cover. Stay away from this place.
