complex grounds are nice, people are snobby, management is the single worst, rent is rediculous.
i just moved out of there because they are raising the rent... again (no surprise). i had to return my parking pass which was not listed "return mandatory" on any sheet, so i go out of my way to return it and they still listed it as unreturn. so i was fined for it. management obviously has no record of anything and the girl who did my check out was a moron with the education of a middle schooler. also, you have to find parking if you have a studio because you are only allowed to have one parking space, and parking is the biggest btch in the world.
people who live here are generally retired or old enough they get pissed over the slightest noise they hear when their hearing aids are turned up. i have been blamed several times at 4am. for stomping when i was sleeping because my studio is next to a hallway where idiots like to run around and hit the walls. in the apartment buildings you have to go through so many unnesseccary doors you probrably will need to buy a cart or something to roll around if you bring anything home because you'll be opening and closing about 5 doors before you get to you apartment.
overall if you have a lot of money to waste and feel like you want to look rich but have a shtty apartment then this is the place for you. it looks like a water theme park on the outside but inside theres about 10 years worth of paint layers on your apartment walls and cabinets hiding years of shtty service that rapes the money out of you.

I'm not the one who posted the review, but I am a resident currently. Only the management would care enough to respond in the juvenile way that they did to this guy's very real review. The resident services office is a joke and is getting worse. They are surly and rude and absolutely helpless. Unless it comes to tacking on a fine for something. If you want to live in a place where someone in the office writes stuff like "Your ------ is moist and tangy" in response to legit complaints, then move to Mariners Village. The grounds people do a great job though and the family who run the market are nice.

Well, if the management responds that way, you can imagine what they are...

I am a former resident of mariners village. Our apartment was infested with termites and silverfish. We had friends who lived there who also had this problem. After we moved out of our spotless apartment we were charged a all of our security deposit for cleaning. Our apartment was spotless, Mariners Village is a joke. Stay away or pay the price.

Once again, that's management posting the foul language. Only they would do it. You can tell also from the mispellings, poor usage of grammar, etc. And they keep doing it, actually thinking that they're anonymous. I can even guess which of them in resident services are doing it.

I am looking for a place to live and thought I'd check out Mariner's Village as a friend of mine lived there in the past. I am glad I didn't waste my time! I don't care who posted those vulgar responses above, but it's obviously someone who is extremely immature. I am staying away from this place- it's not worth it.
