Another major fire at the Mariner's Village...2nd big fire in 2 years. I was displaced by the first one, treated like dirt (the night of the fire the first words to come out of the resident services were "we are under no obligation to help you". Thats great after youve lost all of your stuff. The management really are morons here. In three years had my car broken into, then stolen 6 months later. And the cameras that look like they might actually work as you drive into the complex dont. Had to complain to the health department to get them to do anything about the creatures and standing water that infest the Sauna in the guys changing room. Go in there now after they "fixed" it and you'll get ants crawling on you within 5 seconds. They then lied about why it had been closed...Squirrels destroyed my balcony furniture and they did nothing to stop them accessing it. And to top it all off they want to start legal precedings against me for having a bloody doormat. what the hell is going on''' add to that the problems of broken laundry machines, not a great place to live. will do the remainder of my lease and thats it.

Part of the problem is that rents are lowered drastically during slow periods, resulting in subpar clientele, and yet the Village branding still boasts "upscale resort-type living." When the mgmgt stopped serving the residents and started behaving like they serve you and you're damn well lucky, the service angle was flipped. Could have to do with its type of residents these days. Mgmt is a combination of police state to keep the subpar residents in line and super-snobby because they bought into the sales lines in their own marketing brochures. Bottom line is it's crazy, and it's not what it once was. There are drugs among its residents, robberies, sex in the pools (disgusting) and kids running around everywhere you look. The Village used to be for single professionals with a higher standard of living. Now it looks like Culver City's dreamboat.

My girlfriend and I almost moved into Mariners Village a couple of months ago. We signed a lease was approved and the day we were to accept the keys we decided to back out. The location is great. However we heard about and read so many horror stories about the residents and management we decided not to move in. I am sure we made a wise decision!

As a resident who just moved out, I am so happy I got away. Even though we turned in the place sparkling clean, not a single nail in the wall, they charged us to "repaint" the unit and an exorbitant fee to clean. Out of our $500 security desposit, I got back $26!!! And of the 2 assigned parkings, one was 3 buildings away (literally a 7-minute walk), for which they charged me $50/month. And did I mention they did not refund the hang-tag fee (because I returned it a day later), seriously (and yes, if you are living there, you signed a document that says if the hang-tag is not returned on the day you turned in the keys, there is no refund). While the place is beautiful, the management sucks. Very unresponsive. I do not recommend it. There are better choices in the area.

Hey, A S S C L O W N S! Bloody entry mats? Complaints about fees that are clearly listed in your lease? Quit thinking with your V A G I N A L flaps and let some of that blood flow up to your brain. Time to close your meat curtains and go sit in the corner, in the dark.

Attention future residents: This last review, directed to "Assclowns" and followed with lots of foul remarks is indicative of the mentality in the resident services office. Only they would have written this. No one that's an actual tenant would ever defend the complex with this type of vile. It really is unbelievable, isn't it? Usually, you pay a high rent and you expect to be treated decently. You've been warned.

Ha.. I do not work there. I just like getting people pissed off and typing "assclowns". Jokes on you P E N A L Discharge!

Yes this is someone in management, possibly the owner himself, writing these foul responses. These go back for years. I think it's indicative of the terrible attitude, the arrogance of the owners/managers. Call me a happy former resident who loves where I live, now that it's not in MV.

Im a new tenant....yes the grounds are gorgeous...a little noice from upstairs units.. but hay there apartments.. really what do you expect? I previously lived in house...so it's diffrent but good in alot of ways... ive been here for 4 months and the only bad thing I can say is a ran into problems with MANAGEMENT... there very rude.. they don't help you and have no respect for tenants, they mess up on there end and then make you pay.. for instance my friends car got towed.. they were doing work out in the parking lot one day.. in the evening they took the no parking signs off 2 sections left the others with a warning that in the morning the other sections would be having work done.. so i even called them....told my friend ya it's ok to park there.. that it was the other sections that were being worked on... well management was WRONG and the workers needed to work in all areas... bottom line THEY TOWED MY FRIENDS CAR...$200.00 IM NOT CHEAP... just dont like 2 waste money especially when it not my fault..... they just didnt want to look bad and have 2 pay more for the workers to come back,,, that should of never happen... but besides that other situations happen... I have a 2 bedroom was at the pool with my roomate I had 2 family members with me. he had one... MANGEMENT TOLD ME ONE OF MY RELATIVES HAD 2 GO...!! they said 2 guest per apartment....anyways the lady was wrong its 2 PER RESIDENT/LESSE.... THE FACT IS THERE WERE NOT ONLY RUDE THEY WERE WRONG......EMBARRASSED ME,... RUINED MY DAY.... AND DIDN'T HAVE THERE FACTS STRAIGHT... SO BESIDES THEM IT'S GREAT BUT THEY REALLY SHOULD RE-HIRETHE MANAGER... SHE "THEY" ARE NOT BEING GOOD EXAMPLES OR KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING... ARE RENT PAY'S THERE WAGES... THEY NEED 2 GO
