The NOISE which includes every foot step, through the floor/ ceiling is a deal breaker. I would not wish this place on my worse enemy!

The staff ignores any complaints!

Run away fast from Mariners!

thank you!

Lived here?

The noise from below isn't that great, either. I lived here several years ago in a third-floor unit and even though my downstairs neighbor's stereo wasn't up too high, his bass shook the walls until the wee morning hours. It was just something I had to live with. The year before I lived in a first-floor unit and my upstairs neighbor was quiet unless she was fighting violently with her boyfriend--very scary; I though he was going to kill her, or if he had his friends over. One of his friends actually urinated on my window one night while the rest of the drunk and blunt-smoking crew hung over the balcony shouting anti-white epithets and sexual threats at my bedroom window with his other two friends. They also sprayed 40s all over my roommate's window while doing the same thing, and she wasn't even Caucasian (And I had never had any problems with them in the past, so it was totally unprovoked.) We were too scared to say anything (especially with such a lackadaisical office staff), so we just moved when our lease was up to another more expensive unit closer to the water. Besides the thin walls, I have to say it was much better in terms of neighbor quality. For the high rent that we paid in the first unit, you'd think the neighborhood wouldn't be that rough, but surprise, surprise. (High quality, Mariner's Village--STOP LOWERING THE RENTS. YOU'RE ATTRACTING A MUCH ROUGHER CROWD, WHICH SCARES AWAY PEOPLE WHO CAN ACTUALLY AFFORD TO LIVE THERE FOR YEARS.)

Is there anything that can be done about the noise through the ceiling? I feel like the person above me is stomping/pacing back and forth for hours. I definitely don't walk around my apartment THAT much - not sure what they are doing but I can hear every step. And some steps are so loud the ceiling snaps loudly!
