Of course the lush landscaping and waterfront lifestyle is beautiful.
Consider this, you pay considerably high rent and when you have issues management always responds by saying,'call courtesy patrol'
That step is a joke as they have no ability to do anything and you often wind up calling the local Sheriff's office yourself.
They take just about anyone as residents so there is plenty of crime which includes vehicle break-ins, apartment theft and weekends full of punks that come home after 2:00am drunk yelling and blasting their car stereos in the parking lots. (let's not forget the number of residents that have car stereos with base levels so high that your pictures rattle on the walls)
In the past few years this place has become a rip-off.
The property management staff is more concerned about how long after Christmas you keep your decorations up and how your patio plants mat be a bit too high than they are about providing a comfortable living enviornment for the residents.
Our finest moment will be the day after we have moved.
Avoid this community.

We almost made the mistake to move in here from Mariners Bay last year instead we moved in to Archstone and we love it! Mariners Village along with Mariners Bay have gone downhill from terrible front office management, rowdy residents and simply old broken down ghetto like facilities. Don't make the mistake to move into Mariners Village or Mariners Bay or you will surly regret it!

The primary flavor of this place has descended into a state of trailer trash ?????? college dorm. At this point it doesn??????t matter if new owners buy this place or if Marina del Rey renovates itself into another Santa Monica promenade. The current owners and management have flushed Mariner??????s Village down the toilet in favor of a quick, fast buck, and it??????s beyond the point of ever being resurrected. It's really too bad because this place had a lot of potential to be the gem of Marina del Rey.
