Old building but very friendly and responsive staff. There is construction everywhere in the marina right now so be wary of what's going on outside of the unit you're shown. The apartments can get quite warm during peak summer months. Overall, I'm very happy living here. I'm in a top unit and never really notice my neighbors. The unit is a very good size and, although it's very outdated, one of the best deals for the money in the marina. It is still privately owned so,even though I've never met the owners, I don't feel like I'm at the whim of a public company like Archstone. I could be mistaken but I don't think I'm going to ever come home to a note that says my rent is going up $400/month and I have 30 days to leave if I don't like it. I do wonder how much longer it will take for them to sell out or personally tear down and rebuild luxury units. Who knows, maybe the owners are happy with things the way they are and I'll get to live here for a couple more years until I can afford a house. I recommend the Tahiti Marian apartments.
