The fire alarm for the complex goes off quite frequently for no good reason. It is extremely loud and piercing with individual units in each room. When it goes off it usually continues for around 40 minutes while the fire department walks the grounds. Just today it went off at 5:28 a.m. At this point it is not only a nuisance but also a danger because everyone automatically assumes it is a false alarm. Do not move into this complex, you will regret it.

Adding to this review, shortly after I posted this the alarm went off again at 6:40 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Stay away from this place!!!!

Adding to this review again. Months later and the management sent out a letter stating that they finally have decided to replace the fire alarms. I guess they finally believe that it is abnormal to have piercing fire alarms going off several times a month at all hours. Well, either they really didn't replace the faulty alarms or they put in more faulty alarms. They went off again at 4:30 a.m. I ran into my kids room and was surprised to see them sleeping through the piercing alarm. They've gotten so used to them that they don't even react anymore. What an incredible safety hazard! God help the residents of this place if there is ever a real fire. Also, I checked my lease and noticed that there is no "peaceful enjoyment of the premises" clause that is normally standard in any lease so I can't even consider this a violation of my lease and move the hell out. When our lease is up we are so out of this dump. Stay away!!!!

The alarm went off at least 4 times that Sat. morning... it scared my baby kitty to no end with those ear piercing fire alarm sound. He was so scared, he ran in to our blanket shivering.... ;_;
