I lived at the Chateau and found it to be pretty nice. The apartments are big and the bathrooms are huge, (one bedroom). I liked having a washer/dryer in my place too. The kitchen is clean with newer appliances and has alot of cabinet space. I never found one bug in my place, including a spider. Not bad at all, especially because I am terrified of spiders.

What I didn't like:
1) The constant smell of Chinese food in the hallways. Come on people, don't you eat pizza now and then'

2) Living off of the courtyard was pretty, but it was a conduit for sound. Well, I guess I would have rather lived there, than off of Lincoln Blvd. with the constant noisy traffic and emergency vehicle sirens. The fire alarms went off quite frequently. Nothing like being in a deep sleep and all the sudden being woken up by the piercing "false" alarms. Ear plugs can be a great friend while in that place.

3) Parking garage is scary. Reports of homeless people hanging out in the storage areas (lower level) and drug paraphernalia found in the storage areas too. Some cars were broken into when I lived there, but not my car, thankfully. The lighting is poor.
Hopefully that has changed since I lived there.

Overall, I would have to say that my stay at the Chateau was pleasant and comfortable. Compared to the horror stories at Fiji, the Chateau is much nicer.
