I recently moved into this building. I feel like I got suckered! The archstone staff is so friendly when theyre about to get you to sign a lease. And the building is beautiful.. they just remodeled the front offices. BUT, as soon as you move in, you are no longer treated nicely and you find out that its not so beautiful afterall. Its all a selling trick that the archstone employees have mastered. Please dont be fooled by the smiling faces... and definetly look at the apartment you are expected to move into BEFORE you do! (they wouldnt let me see mine because they werent done "cleaning it") When I did move in, I was shocked... it wasnt at all what I expected :( I know its california and all and its an apartment, but I feel like I was lied too and thats a shame. It is a nice place though. There is no security anymore.. (I heard they were sleeping on the job and had to be let go..''!!') And the elevators rarely work!! Someone actually got trapped inside when they were down!! And they are often broken (except the ones in the main lobby.. they take very good care of everything in front so that when potential leasers walk through the door, it looks perfect...) They forgot to show me the garage, and the back hallways where Id actually be... no they only showed all the pretty stuff... I am an idiot!!
