I signed a lease with the building when they were managed by Archstone and since they've been purchased by another management company, the staff has gone noticeably downhill. The previous staff was friendly and would go out of their way to make sure that residents were happy; now, they are pushed aside with a very apparent focus on getting new residents in the door. Many times no resident service staff is available, but there are 3-4 sales associates sitting at their desks; often unwilling to help.

The old Archstone website allowed for direct payments of rent, tracking of work orders and a community message board. The new website is mostly sales focused and the resident "portal" is non-functional.

Work orders were completed within 24 hours with the old management and now I've heard from my neighbors that they have waited over a week to even hear back on some simple repairs.

I'm in the market for a new apartment/community in Marina Del Rey.

Ugh! I feel like I live in a shopping complex or something - the building is so sales oriented that aside from the huge banners and signs on and along the building, they've resorted to sign spinners out front! Come on!
