After living here for 2 months, I am pretty impressed. There are little things that virtually any property will have to deal with and it really boils down to how the staff take care of things.

My experience has been that that location makes all the difference in the world and kept that in mind when I was looking. I chose a spot at the back of the building, not facing Lincoln which could be noisy. I do have a lovely view of the loading dock - but that also means that I see an unbobstructed sunrise - don't get the hot sun during the afternoon, and dont have a neighbor 20 feet across from me that can peer into my home.

My neighbors are quiet and seem to be clean. I have heard of the trash being left in hallways or dog droppings being left in stairwells - but have never seen that as some post suggest. Could or does it happen - has anyone ever lived near college students - then yep I don't doubt it. Again, they don't seem to be the ones I live near.

As for services - I was told that there was only one internet provider when I moved in, but I ignored it and found that as long as you have a verizon home phone you can get their dsl. So for those of you that are having trouble (which I heard about when I moved in from my neighbor) - dump them and find a good solution for you.

I live in bldg 2 - so that may account for some of the things I experience verus others on this site, but again, it is what you make of it and how you handle things you want taken care of...It depends on you.

They tell you on move in that you can get Verizon DSL or Netrisen. However, only SOME apartments can get Verizon. Not all of them. I lived there for a year and was unable to get any service but the crappy Netrisen one. Dunno about building 2, but in building 1 a view of the loading dock means you have another apartment complex directly across the street from you...so you would still have neighbors that could see into your apartment. Is building 2's loading dock by the shell station?
